Born in 1973, Seattle’s Jon McMillion has been producing electronic music for seven years now.  A Pacific Northwest native, Jon McMillion is a software engineer by day and studio freak by night.  Coming from a musical family, Jon grew up with a soundtrack including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Wes Montgomery.  After learning his way around the piano, then focusing on guitar, Jon was involved with groups in Seattle’s fertile and eclectic underground scene, combining infulences from John McLaughlin to Black Flag to The Fall.  Hearing early Warp artists such as Squarepusher led Jon into the realm of electronic production, supported in part by the online community around Atom Heart’s mailing list.  His debut EP “Inner Floor” on Orac was released in April 2006.
