Paris, Metz
Work took me to Europe last week and so I had the pleasure of tagging along with Bruno to a couple of shows in France. The first one was in Le Zebre, an intimate spot in eastern Paris with a friendly warehousy vibe. Bruno, Miss Fits from Berlin, and the excellent Dan Ghenacia laid down the music. After that there were cave parties, talking parties, and some excellent steak frites. I’m not ashamed to say that some recovery time was needed, and so thanks to Bruno we spent a at least few hours of my first time in Paris watching old episodes of “Hill Street Blues.” Then in Metz, Bruno played at the “Minimal Art” at Les Trinitaires, an old monastery which made an excellent party and art space. Here I was lucky enough to partake in a potluck laid down by the festival organizers. Food everywhere in Europe is of a better caliber than what we are accustomed to, even in Cascadia. But if a French art collective is throwing a dinner party anywhere in your vicinity, take my advice and go, on your knees if you must. Heartfelt thanks to Pier and Aline and company. Bisoux!
Kriss Billieres took some very nice photos in Paris including this one of Bruno making the magic happen at Le Zebre.

My Buddy Randall is totally the best travel partner! And I have to say could go MUCH harder than me in the party...lasting longer - talking longer and looking better in general...Long Live Captain Furillo!
Big Kiss to YOU!
