We had a great NYE here at Orac HQ in Seattle with special friends.  We ate some oysters and pickles and other tasty little animals and plants, Paul Sly made pitchers of Manhattans though I personally stuck to straight vodka (TIP!), played a lot of records and burned some stuff in the backyard.  Chaya made her fantastic baked French toast in the morning and we had special guests Seth and Seeta for a brief shining moment.  Everything just kind of fell into place well without stress—no real party fouls— cartoon cats appeared on bellies—everybody happy, just a great way to start what promises to be an active, happy, fantastic year. 

I hope all you good people out there were just as lucky and smart with your party happenings.  I wish you health and prosperity and vibrant culture and good eating in 2008! 

Things I am personally looking forward to in ‘08:
• helping get the fascists out of the White House
• working towards a free Cascadia
• getting a mariusgenser
• making and hearing and releasing some amazing music!  Stay tuned!
