More Seattle Goodness
If you’re reading this you probably know about this show already, but what the hell. Some banging yet interesting modern techno artists and some of our favorite and most friendly and skillful locals will be playing Saturday, November 11 at the Pacific Science Center:
Berg Nixon a.k.a. Ryan Crosson (M-nus / Trapez / Telegraph Records –
Detroit) - Live Set
http://www.ryancrosson.com
Geoff White (Ghostly - Spain) - Live Set
http://www.ghostly.com
Jerry Abstract (Decibel / Fixelplix / Shitkatapult - SEA) - 3 Turntable
Minimal Set
http://www.fixelplix.com
Kristina Childs and Nordic Soul (Krakt / Decibel - SEA) - 2x4 Set
http://www.kristinachilds.com / http://www.dbfestival.com
And our friend Jay Mason will be there doing some live painting, which is always great. There will also be some good house music courtesy of Uniting Souls and friends. On the down side, there’s going to be some psytrance, and some circus fools. Who decided clowns and circuses should be embraced in our time? Put simply, clowns and psytrance lack the funk.
To end on a positive note, I think there’s a room full of butterflies.
